Inspired by the form and function of electricity pylons, Ledge is an egg holder that supports up to 6 eggs.
Ledge is designed so that it suspends eggs in such a way, they appear to float whilst remaining deceivingly stable. A seamless joint between the legs and the top platform describe a singular form.
Machined holes provide precise alignment for each egg, whilst a chamfered edge ensures a smooth contact point between the egg shell and the product.
Ledge is constructed 100% from ash wood, with no visible fixings. This not only helps Ledge to look like a traditional kitchen item, but ensures it reduces the environmental impact of multiple materials.
