A short project to quickly develop and visualise a side chair.
A seemingly single flowing length of dowel forms both the backrest and rear legs. Meanwhile, soft curves suggest comfort and provide visual interest from all angles.
A large, flat section of solid timber provides all the necessary structure for the chair. The dowel legs seamlessly integrate with the seat and stay tightly in position. The removal of any bracing keeps the design minimal and clean to the eye.
